suicide outside
Paula Abdul's
home, blames the reality show for her death.
Charles McIntyre says
his sister was crushed
after Paula Abdul panned
her performance at the
Idol
tryouts in 2005. He also
said judge
Simon Cowell was out
of line to criticize his
sister's braces.
Paula Goodspeed's niece
tells the
New York Daily News
her aunt was not
suicidal or a stalker.
The niece says Goodspeed
even told her that she
and Abdul once had
coffee together at a
Starbucks.
"Not an ounce of truth
to this," said Abdul's
publicist. "Paula met
her only at
Idol."

time," the Oscar winner wrote to her fans

Tragedy struck for the
Hudson sisters on Oct. 24, when their
mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother,
Jason Hudson, were murdered in the
family's home in Chicago. Julia's son,
Julian King, was kidnapped and his body
was found three days later in an abandoned
car. Authorities named Julia's estranged
husband, William Balfour, a "person of
interest" and he's being held in jail on a
parole violation.

probation.
Following the news that
an "extreme fan" of
Paula
Abdul killed
herself outside the
Idol
judge's home, comes word
that Marcia
Valentine
has been sentenced to
three years probation
for stalking Sandra. A
felony charge of assault
with a deadly weapon was
dropped after Marcia
entered her guilty plea
to misdemeanor stalking.
The
sentencing took place on
Nov. 5. Sandra testified
that on five occasions
Valentine left palm
fronds adorned with
"weird signs" and
"pieces of animal fur"
in her yard. Then, in
April 2007, Sandra's
husband Jesse, of
Monster Garage's
fame, saw Valentine
outside their Sunset
Beach home. When he went
outside to write down
the woman's license
plate, she screamed
obscenities at him and
twice tried to run him
over with her
Mercedes-Benz.
The
custom-made motorcycle
manufacturer wasn't hurt
and Valentine was
arrested the next day
while driving in the
area.

marriage, Shania Twain stepped out at last night's Country Music
Awards looking so good that her ex is surely
having regrets.
The hitmaker gave out
the award for
entertainer
of the year on Wednesday night in Nashville,
marking her first U.S. TV appearance since she
separated from her husband, songwriter-record
producer Robert "Mutt" Lange,
amidst rumors he had an affair with a family
friend. The audience greeted her with a rousing
ovation.
"It's good to see all
of you, too," she told the audience. "I hope to be
seeing a lot more of you," perhaps referring to
the post-breakup album she's said to be working

In Kim Kardashian's case, she introduced the cast to
her own mother.
"Everyone on the set was extremely kind and so fun to
work with!" writes the Dancing with the Stars
alum on
her Web site Friday. "Bob Saget, who is the show's
narrator, and cast member Jason Segel were there as
well as my own mother, who everyone got to meet. Ha!"
Kim – who plays herself in the episode – also gave
some juicy tidbits about her part. Writes Kim in her
blog, "I am on the cover of a weekly magazine and I
come to life! So, I had to film it all on a green
screen! "
And the budding actress seems nothing but happy about
the experience. "I can't wait to see the show," she
adds. "I really had a great time and hope this opens
up other opportunities for me in the acting world."
